This exhaust is by far the best sounding system I have heard on the FK8 platform and is perfectly balanced stylistically.
Videos fail to truly demonstrate how robust and deep the exhaust not becomes with this system installed devoid of any other exhaust component changes. Cold start is grin crackingly loud and aggressive while also managing to maintain the regard for neighbors that they near silent OEM system does. The idle exhaust note is uncharacteristically low and full bodied for a 2.0L 4cyl vtec motor with elegant resonant tones and notable but subtly burbles. The system under load is unquestionably louder than OEM however due to the Helmhotz resonator integrated into the rear of the exhaust section, rasp and tinny frequencies as well as cabin drone creating an auditory experience that elevates the appeal of the vehicle with the added bonus of more distinct turbo spooling sound higher in the rev range.
The engineering of this system and the attention to detail in its design are also worthy commendation. Although the modularity of the system can seem daunting initially, quickly into the installation process it becomes apparent that this design greatly reduces the difficulty and effort of the process while also making it one of the few systems that incorporates adjustability of its exhaust hangers for the simplest and most granular exhaust tip alignment.
